“Feminist objectivity means, quite simply, situated knowledges.”
— Donna Haraway
I am an illustrator and designer from Lima, currently based in Barcelona. I hold a BA in Communication Sciences from Universidad de Lima and a Master’s in Design for Emergent Futures from Elisava and the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). I currently combine design and innovation projects with my work in illustration and art.
My work has been exhibited in solo shows such as Todo es Pasajero at TOC Hostels, Barcelona (2023), as well as in group exhibitions and events including Noche de Arte BBVA (2017) and the Imagen Palabra Festival (2016) in Lima, Peru. In 2020, I self-published my first book, Retratarlas.
Working mainly with watercolours, pastels and inks, I create scenes where humans interact harmoniously with nature, evoking feelings of melancholy, nostalgia and tenderness.
Education & Training
- Postgraduate in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, EINA, UAB (Barcelona, Spain – 2024)- Editorial Illustration Workshop with Paula Bonet (Barcelona, Spain – 2024)

In parallel, I work as a consultant in innovation and new product and service development, and I was co-director and founder of Candela Brand Kitchen, a boutique branding studio. As a designer and consultant, I have worked on projects addressing workplace sexual harassment, positive masculinities, pay inequality, digital behaviours in Latin America, and futures literacy with children and migrant women. My design practice seeks to address the structural causes behind any design challenge and recognises that climate justice cannot happen without gender equality.
